Commonly called fixed displacement, this type of supercharger is an older model within its class. This supercharger gets its name because it delivers a very specific amount of forward flowing air into the system (never backwards flow). The benefit of using a positive placement supercharger is its effeciency. Whether you are running in lower revolutions per minute, or higher, it is effecient and will provide you with increased horsepower.

Do you benefit from using a positive displacement supercharger? Comments? Suggestions?
